2020 Brew In The Lou

2020 Brew In The Lou

We’ll miss the event,
but not the fun!

We’ve cried in our beers long enough. All summer, we hoped, we prayed and we pleaded that the pandemic might subside in time to hold our 8th Annual Brew in the Lou Festival to support Lutheran schools this October. But the virus had other plans. The good news is, so do we.

Our new Brew in the Lou Passport is a 12-month ticket to the best beer, wine, spirits and food in our great city.

All offers in the Brew In The Lou Passport are valid for a full year!

Here’s how it works:

For the one-time cost of just $30, you’ll get exclusive access to more than $300 in beverages, menu items and special discounts at more than 25 of your favorite breweries, distilleries, wineries, restaurants and other venues, like Six Mile Bridge, Missouri Beer Co., O’Fallon Brewery, St. Louis Hop Shop, St. Louis Distillery,Bootleggin’ BBQ, Peel Wood Fired Pizza (click here for a complete list/add link). And since it’s good for an entire year, (Oct. 1, 2020 to Oct. 1, 2021), your Brew in the Lou Passport will allow you to support our 34-member Lutheran schools and local businesses that have been hit hard by the pandemic all year long.

Brew in the Lou Passports make excellent gifts for the holidays or birthdays – for friends, family members, co-workers, clients, customers and employees. And since that list gets longer every year, we’re also launching our first-ever “Brew in the Lou” Online Auction featuring exclusive tasting tours, virtual cooking classes with local chefs, special food and wine events, gift certificates, and seasonal and holiday-themed baskets, products and experiences. Watch for more information on preview and bidding dates in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your support!

Even though we will miss tasting and toasting with you in person this fall, we’re excited to share this new way to support Lutheran education and our local hospitality industry with you. Brew in the Lou is one of our largest and most important fundraisers, and the revenue it raises provides much-needed services and scholarship assistance to the 8,300 children and500 educators we serve. Last year’s Brew raised an astounding $120,000 and allowed us to provide critical assistance to the children, families and schools affected by the economic shut-down. And as this crisis continues to unfold, many more will need our help.

So what happens next? In the coming weeks, we’ll share more details about how and when you can buy your Brew In the Lou Passport. TBA – more info – here’s what the Chamber wrote:

Pre-order now available.  We expect delivery of Passports sometime in mid-September.  All pre-orders will be mailed upon delivery of Passport booklets.

In the meantime, thank you for your faithful and ongoing support. We can’t wait to see you again at next year’s Brew the Lou Festival on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
